Suwon Special City announced on the 1st that 33 teams that passed the document screening participated in the 2025 Suwon Startup Audition held at the Novotel Ambassador Suwon and presented their ideas. The winners were selected after a thorough evaluation process.
The competition recruited participants in three categories: Ideas, Commercialization, and Entrepreneurship Clubs, with a total of 439 teams participating.
The city selected a total of 36 teams, including: 1 team in each of the Grand Prize categories (two teams for the Suwon Special City Mayor's Award and one team for the Minister of Environment Award); 1 team in each of the Grand Prize categories (Suwon Special City Mayor's Award); and 1 team in each of the Excellence Awards (Suwon Special City Council Chairman's Award).
The Grand Prize went to MGMG (AI Alarm Service) in the Entrepreneurship Club category, PySphere (Eco-Friendly Electricity Production and Education Solution) in the Idea category, and Zolve (Zolve Pad) in the Commercialization category.
The winning team will receive a cash prize, support from the Suwon Enterprise Saebit Fund, and opportunities to participate in small business loan programs.
Lee Won-gu, Director of the Suwon City Economic Policy Bureau, said, "Suwon City is providing unwavering one-stop support, including investment, networking, and startup support centers, to help entrepreneurs grow into startups. Suwon will be a reliable pacemaker to help you realize your dreams."
The Startup Audition, hosted by Suwon City and organized by the Suwon City Foundation Startup Support Center, is a competition designed to discover aspiring entrepreneurs with excellent startup ideas or entrepreneurs with technological prowess.
