The 7th demo day of the accelerating program ‘NAACst STEP’ of SNAAC, a student-led startup accelerator at Seoul National University, has concluded.
At this demo day, 6 participating companies that completed the 8-week celerating program conducted IR pitching. The participating companies were selected through a competition rate of 11 to 1, and included Viscure, a display adhesive development company, Infinixion, a web novel AI translation and export company, Termit, an e-commerce product page AI design tool developer, Assem, a small cargo sharing platform ‘Self-Yongdal’ operator, Ocho Create, an influencer seeding marketing AI agent developer, and Romantic Robotics, a mobile manipulator development company.
The judging panel included judges from 5 venture capitals (VCs), including Kakao Ventures, Smilegate Investment, Sazze Partners, DSC Investment, and GS Retail.
As a result of the evaluation, Infinixion won the grand prize and Viscure won the grand prize.
NAACst STEP, now in its seventh year, is a growth support program for early-stage startups. During the eight-week project period, Snack assigns a ‘growth partner’ to each participating company on a 1:1 basis and provides mentoring through partnerships with VCs and law, patent, tax, and accounting firms. It also regularly holds networking events for exchanges between startups.
Jo Ha-eun, CEO of Snack, said, “This year, Snack plans to significantly expand its startup industry network and strengthen its role as a startup hub where each member can create explosive synergy,” adding, “We will focus on expanding opportunities for more entrepreneurs to participate, not just companies participating in NAACst STEP.”
Snack is a non-profit startup accelerator led by Seoul National University students, and is characterized by supporting early-stage startups without equity investment. It operates the startup accelerator program ‘NAACst STEP’, the startup network ‘SNAAC Pool’ of Seoul National University graduates, and the entrepreneur lecture and networking event ‘NAAC-Tie’.
Among the startup teams that have gone through Snack, there are ‘Dalpa’, which achieved 13.3 billion won in cumulative investment in just one year after establishment, and ‘The Playto’, which attracted a total of 800 million won in seed investment.
